So far, my summer has not been the relaxing in the sun experience I'd been fantasizing about. Like many families, I am also caring for an aging parent. The past two weeks have been more or less a nightmare - spending long hours at the hospital and then the nursing home.
But not all is lost.
I've had the opportunity to be head soccer coach at our church's sports camp this week in the mornings. Nothing like screaming, crazy, laughing children to take your mind off your problems.
Like our Bible lesson stated today, "God has a plan for each of us." Even when we don't understand, He still knows best.
