Excuse me a moment while I brag about myself

We all hope that our own book we've spent hours writing and editing will set out into the public eye and be successful. Much like sending a child off to school, the author/parent in us prays that our book doesn't get made fun of, or picked on.

Often too proud, we brag to our friends about its success, our hopes and dreams for its future...

Sometimes our books come back and need mending, or further editing.

Sometimes, our books soar to great places.
