It's Teaser Tuesday!

Fans will often ask me if I have any favorite scenes from my book, A Kiss for Emily. Yes I do!

Page 103:

Alex had been my Prince Charming, my knight in shining armor. Now he was simply the moldy cherry on a melted hot fudge sundae.

Poor Alex! Can you image how you'd feel if someone said that about you? Lucky, for him, Emily never says this to his face. 

 

On the flip side, and coming to Emily's defense, I think we've all been on the side of being rejected and sometimes we deal with that hurt by discrediting the one who hurt us.
