Are you a worrier?
I am. I worry about the dumbest stuff. When it comes
to writing, I know I have some inner talent, but then the self-doubt
starts talking. Now that I've received so many compliment on my first
book, I've begun to worry that my second book won't be as good...*rolls
eyes* Why can't my brain automatically think, "This is going to be
better than ever!"?
I believe your next book will be better than ever. :) Do you like to read YA? I have a great recommendation if you do have time! Where Things Come Back by John Corey Whaley. Just reading it and knowing his story is just immensely encouraging. :) ^_^ You're a great writer.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Aly..for the encouragement and the recommendation. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe second book is likely to be even better, J P. But writers are inveterate worriers and no wonder, the industry we're in is ever-changing and there's no such thing as a secure career. I try and enjoy the journey.
