Diary of an Author - Day 1

I've decided to turn my blog into the diary of an author - my daily success and fails of what being an author is all about.
I should have started this diary from the real Day 1, back in Feb of 2009, but I guess I lacked the foresight of where writing would take me. When I started writing, I thought my only job was to write a story. Boy! I didn't have wool over my eyes....I had the whole sheep!
Three years later, I have my first self-published YA novel on the market, but the story is far from being over! The drama continues as I am in the process of writing the second in the series, and learn how to promote the first.
